Start of November - more playoffs, MS Awards Night, Booster, MS Hoops!!!

Some great athletic events over the past few days. On Friday night, the Girls Soccer team was down 2-0 at St Thomas with six minutes to play. The Hawks then scored two goals in the next few minutes, forcing overtime. Unfortunately, St Thomas found the back of the net in the extra frame, ending the season for the Hawks. Still, a great comeback and game. Then, on Saturday, it was time for the Boys Soccer Quarterfinal. Against a skilled Manchester West team, the Hawks played great team soccer and prevailed, 2-0, to advance to the Semifinals. While the game was going on, news filtered in that the Girls Cross Country team had finished 6th in all of New Hampshire, meaning that they have now qualified for the New Engand Championships in Thetford, Vermont next weekend. Maddy Lane came in second in New Hampshire, while Max Goupil also earned himself an individual invitation to the New England Championship. Great job runners and all of our athletes this weekend.

Monday
- Middle School Sports Awards 6pm sharp in the Audi. All are invited, athletes please dress nicely, cleaned, bagged, and labeled uniforms can be turned in, and refreshments follow, courtesy of the Booster Club. Expect the ceremony to last about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Wednesday
- Varsity Boys Soccer Semifinal #3 Hawks vs #2 Kearsarge at Bedford HS at 4:30pm. Admission is charged for this event; you can buy tickets ahead of time and miss the lines HERE (Link will go live Monday or Tuesday)
- Middle School Basketball Tryout 1 (Players should attend all three!) Boys 3-4:30, Girls 4:30-6
Thursday
- Middle School Basketball Tryout 2, Girls 3-5, Boys 5-7
- Booster Club Meeting 7pm via zoom
- Signups for all other winter sports will be posted!
Friday
- Grade check for winter eligibility!!! Get that work turned in!
- Middle School Basketball Tryout 3, Girls 3-5, Boys 5-7
Saturday:
- Cross Country New England Championship at Thetford Academy, Girls 11:30, Boys 12:15!
