From East: Route 128 to Route 11 through Alton. Go about 5 miles and turn left onto Route 11-A towards Gunstock and Gilford. Go approximately 6 miles. After the flashing light at Gilford Village take the next left onto Alvah Wilson Road (school entrance way.) School is ¼ mile on the left. The Gilford Middle School is the first building and Gilford High School is behind the middle school.
From West: Route 104. After you get off Route I-93 at the Bristol/New Hampton Exit 23 take a left back under I-93. Go approximately 4 miles. Watch for Meredith Center Road on the right. Take Meredith Center Road all the way to the end, about 5 miles. At the light, go straight through and pass Laconia Country Club – this is Elm Street. Follow Elm Street until the light, approximately 2 miles. At the light, take a right onto Union Avenue. Stay on Union Avenue and pass Laconia High School on the left. After passing LHS take a left at the light – Gilford Avenue. Follow Gilford Avenue – becomes Route 11 – for approximately 4 miles. On the right, take Alvah Wilson Road (school entrance way.) School is ¼ mile on the left. The Gilford Middle School is the first building and Gilford High School is behind the middle school.
From North: Follow Route I-93 until the Bristol/New Hampton Exit 23. Follow the directions above From West.
From South: Take Route I-93 to Exit 20. Take a left at the end of the ramp. Stay on Route 3 for about 8 miles. After the Belknap Mall take a right onto the Laconia/Gilford By-Pass. Take the second exit – Gilford/Gunstock. At the stop sign turn right onto Route 11. Go approximately 2 miles. On the right, take Alvah Wilson Road (school entrance way.). School is ¼ mile on the left. The Gilford Middle School is the first building and Gilford High School is behind the middle school.
Golf
Pheasant Ridge Country Club.
From the east – pass the high school entrance way – Alvah Wilson Road. Go approximately 2 miles until the light. Take a left onto Country Club Road. The golf course is on the left approximately 1.5 miles.
From the north/south/west – get off the Laconia/Gilford By-Pass at the Gilford/Gunstock Exit. Take the next right at the light – Country Club Road. The golf course is on the left approximately 1.5 miles.
Football
Gilford Meadows Complex
From east – stay on Route 11 until the light – Sawyer’s Dairy Bar is on the left. Turn left the football field is on the left. Enter the field from the front of the complex buildings.
Alpine and Nordic Skiing
Gunstock Nordic Center
Take Route 11-A until you see the entrance to the ski area. The center is before the alpine ski area.
Swimming
Gunstock Inn located just before the entrance to the Gunstock Ski Area.
Ice Hockey
Laconia Ice Rink just off the Laconia/Gilford By-Pass on Route 107.
Lacrosse
Practices and games are at the Gilford Meadows Complex. Follow the directions above for football.
Baseball and Tennis
Belknap Mountain Road (at the blinking light.) Travel approximately 200 feet and enter the direct road on the right. You will see the field directly ahead. The tennis courts are on the right as you enter the park.
